A few months ago, I almost killed my business.

Not on purpose.

I just launched a coaching cohort (one I'd done 9 times before) and assumed it'd work like it always had.

Same offer.

Same structure.

Same audience.

But this go-round?

It flopped.

I usually enroll 25-30 people into the cohort like clockwork.

This time? Eight.

I tried to explain it away.

Maybe it was the time of year.

Maybe the price was too high.

Maybe the pre-launch messaging didn't land.

It wasn't just a fluke...

It was a wake-up call:

I had a broken offer.

And honestly, once I saw it that way, I could feel it.

The positioning felt off.

The way it was packaged didn't feel as aligned anymore.

And the people I wanted to help weren't resonating with it.

So I spent the summer fixing it.

I reworked the promise. Tweaked the way it was sold.

And what happened next was wild.

I opened up 5 new spots in June: all sold out in 48 hours.

Then 7 more in July. Same story.

August cohort: filled.

Then another cohort. Then another.

All in?

27 new clients.

No sales calls.

No discounts.

No drama.

They just saw the offer and said, “I’m in.”

It felt… easy.

And it all started when I stopped blaming external stuff...

…and admitted the offer needed a serious upgrade.

I’ll say more about this next week... Especially if you’re starting to wonder if your offer might be quietly repelling the right people.

But for now, sit with this:

What if the bottleneck isn’t your marketing, or your audience, or your energy...What if it’s the offer itself?

More soon.

Stay tuned.
