My Email List

• Total Subscribers: 16,235 (last week 16,240)
• Added last week (net): 120 (last week: 120)
• 5* Subscribers (engaged in the last 30 days): 9,082 (last week: 8,992)
• Analysis: My "Cold Subscribers" number has grown to over 2,000, so I'm performing some list cleanup and expect my overall subscriber count to decrease significantly.

My Ad Account - Lead Magnets:

• Ad Spend: $665 (last week: $753)
• Gross Leads from FB: 321 (last week: 335)
• Cost per lead: $1.68 (last week $1.98)
• Analysis: I turned off some "exploratory" ad sets and just left the real aces turned on so the CPL dropped 10%.

Instagram (@emailschool): Started Feb 1st

• Total Subscribers: 438 (+1 this week)

​Email School (Email-Focused Membership):

1. Paying Members: 232 (-0 from last week)
2. Monthly Recurring Revenue: $4,239 (up $4/mo from last week)

Other Audiences:

Deep Dive: Your Next $3K

THE SCORECARD

$1,156.16.

I just grabbed a calculator and did some math and...

That's how much revenue per day my 1-person laidback online business has generated since restarting on Jan 1, 2023.

When I relaunched my coaching/mentoring program a year ago, I was looking for a scorecard.

After a few weeks, I thought of a corny metric: 24/7/365.

But not like you think...

Ideally, you'd have a business that:

• Takes 24 hours per week to run
• Takes 7 months a year to fulfill
• Makes $1k/day ($365K/yr)

Having a "1k a day" business brings a lot of freedom.

If your expenses are in check, $30k a month allows you to live a really comfortable life.

But I realized my scorecard had a flaw.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

I launched the Laidback Coaching Program 12 months ago.

Original devotees are coming up on their renewal period.

Some new folks are waiting their turn to get in.

I've been really examining the Program lately.

• What did I like about the last 12 months?
• What did I not like?
• What's the sign-up process?
• How is it working?

One realization: the Scorecard flaw.

If you're making $3-5k per month, it's hard to even fathom $30K months.

Even if you've crested that sweet six-figure mark, the idea of tripling your revenue sounds unrealistic.

But I know it's possible because I've been there.

In January 2023, I was on hold with the unemployment office, trying to find out where my $525 a week government check was.

But by May, I had crossed the six-figure mark.

Of course I'm not saying this to brag - just saying it's possible.

My problem is that the promise of the Coaching Program is too big.

Yes, I want to help people build a business (strategy + model + offers) that is capable of making $1k-a-day.

But we need to start smaller.

DIGITAL DUST

Last week, I hosted a 5-day "Super Flash Sale" to celebrate my oldest kid graduating, my dad busting out of the hospital after 100 days, and our trip to Kauai happening in 32 minutes (I'm writing this from the lounge at the airport).

It made about $6k from Mon - Sat.

$1k a day.

Like clockwork.

But the revenue isn't the full story.

Most days, I took an old training or resource, cleaned it up, and recorded a "glow-up" version fresh for 2025.

It was so easy.

I created AI Assistants to help me make the process faster.

• make the sales pages
• write the emails
• create the trainings
• work up the handouts

...all trained on my models, frameworks, and history.

It took...minutes.

Which got me thinking:

YOUR NEXT $3K

Instead of "building a laidback business" (which is vague...you can't point to it)...

Instead of "building a $1k/day business" (which seems unrealistic if you're making a few thousand a month)...

What if I could help you make $3k in the next 4 weeks?

What if we could polish, package, and promote an old piece of IP that you're not using?

Bundle it up into a "Gadget Workshop"...

Point people to your "Anchor Offer" on the back end...

And add another $3k in revenue to your bottom line this month?

Wouldn't that be awesome?

Here's why it works:

• It's credible ($3K is within everyone's reach)
• It's specific (new $3K in the next 4 weeks)
• I've done it a bunch (your IP + my strategy, frameworks, and AI bots)
