I help people build a laidback online business powered by their stories so they can truly experience life.
Today was one of my better Fridays. We're in Florence, Italy, about halfway through our bucket-list trip with my parents. Today, we took a day trip to Siena and San Gimignano. On the way to a wine tasting and lunch, our driver Alex pointed out vineyards that had been in families for centuries - passed down from generation to generation. We drove by one that was founded in the 10th century! As an American, it's fun to be in a part of the world that is so old. The city I live in, Colorado Springs, was founded in 1871. Driving through the Tuscan countryside, I was impressed with the longevity of the wine business. ...How the vineyards started small and got better over time. The difference between the old vines and the new... I'm not sure if my boys will want to inherit my laidback online business... But it keeps getting better over time, too. About a year ago, my email list was roughly 1/3 the size it is today. I also had about 1/3 of the customers and 1/3 of the sales I have this year. Coincidence? Probably not. Your email list is like grapes. In Tuscany, the best time to start a vineyard was probably 1,000 years ago. But the 2nd best time is today. Same with your list. You got this, ~ Cody "Florence Fan" Burch P.S. Whenever you're ready, here are 4 more ways I can help you grow a laidback online business:

A year ago today, I hosted my first live event after getting fired 6 months prior. I called it "List Build & Launch" and it was held at a boutique hotel here in Colorado Springs. But a few weeks before the event I almost canceled it. Why? I only had 14 people signed up. By the time the event kicked off, I was down to 12 people. I used to get really disappointed when I didn't have the numbers I wanted. Everyone wants more leads, sales, customers, webinar registrants, and event attendees,...
A few years back, I joined a YouTube coaching program. I learned the best day of the week to post your video... The optimal length of your video (including the frequency of "cuts")... The perfect lighting and framing of your video... ...The prescribed volume, cadence, and rhythm of posting on YouTube. And then... I did nothing. I got overwhelmed. I felt bad that my video was 7 minutes (too short, apparently) and not 12 minutes ("perfect", allegedly) I was embarrassed to have cuts happening...
When I first started my online business, I tried and failed to make my mark as a "funnel guy." I was like a Diet Coke Russell Brunson. A Kirkland Signature Ryan Deiss. A "Dr. Thunder" Dan Kennedy. I had a hard time differentiating myself in a crowded marketplace. I couldn't find a unique hook which meant I had to work harder than normal to get clients. Everything felt like a grind... It was like I was pushing a boulder up a hill. So when I returned online in Jan '23, I knew I had to find a...
