Tactics come and go.

Principles remain steady and steadfast.

Here's how I know:

I've been hosting a weekly webinar on Claude Skills for a month.

Tomorrow night is my 4th in a row.

It's working really well for me.

So you might be wondering, "Are you the webinar guy now?"

"Is your next workshop gonna be on webinars?"

No. Not planning to.

I've hosted less than 7 webinars in my ~10 yr career.

1 in 2018. 1 in 2023. 1 in 2025. 3 this month.

Just so happens to be working extremely well for me at the moment.

But a webinar is a tactic.

It's a method of converting an audience into your offer.

Workshops, Summits, Challenges, and Bootcamps are also tactics.

They are a thing to try.

You might like them. You may not.

They're worth testing out.

That's what we do with tactics. We test them.

But some things never change.

Those are called "principles".

They are like gravity - you don't have to like it or believe in it.

But they're true. If someone hands you a puppy you will smile.

In business, there are 3 marketing principles we must abide by.

Principle #1: You need an audience.

Principle #2: You need to add value to them.

Principle #3: You need to sell them things.

I have my way of working with these principles:

Ads -> Email List -> Daily Email -> Monthly Workshops -> Back End Offer

But you're free to play around with your own version of it.

You could get traffic from organic, networking, content, or affiliates.

You could convert that traffic with sales calls, webinars, VSLs, workshops, etc.

You could sell them a membership, VIP day, course, etc.

Your call.

Test the tactics. See what you like.

Trust the principles. The sun will rise in the east and set in the west. You cannot change this.

But you can play around until you find the tactic you (and your audience) like.
