I'm back from my week-long trip to Portugal.

It was my first time, and it was a great experience.

New people, new culture, new food...

And another stamp on my passport.

But the best part?

Unhurried conversations with my online friends.

I hosted a 1-day meet-up on Monday, and I attended a 2-day Mastermind on Tuesday/Wednesday.

I had dinner every night with a new group of people.

In an overly automated, online world...

Nothing, nothing, beats in-person connection.

Zoom is useful. Voxer is convenient. Loom works well.

But it can't compare to high fives, hugs, and meals with other humans.

So, the next time the opportunity arises to meet up in person...
