I'm hanging out at my sister's house in Oklahoma, and just wrapped up my end-of-year ritual.

• Clear inbox - all emails are deleted, flagged for follow-up, or put on the calendar
• Clear messages - all messages have been replied to, deleted, or added to a task list for later
• Pay off credit cards - I struggled for decades with mismanaged CC debt, and it feels great to go into a new year CC debt-free
• Last-minute purchases - I'm prepaying for 2025 professional development (mini-workshops, tiny courses) and taking final business deductions

I'm ready to kick my feet up and spend the rest of the day relaxing.
