Years ago, I had a to-do list longer than a CVS receipt.

I figured a little accountability would help me plow through it...

So I started a little paid private newsletter called The Blueprint.

It was simple: Each Sunday, I emailed out a behind-the-scenes look at what was happening in my business.

Revenue, ad spend, launch details, business investments... nothing was off-limits.

It was raw, unrefined, and real.

It ran for a year and a half, and I still get people telling me how refreshing it was.

Why?

People are curious.

They want to know how things actually work...

Not the polished facade of a curated social media news feed.

I don't run The Blueprint anymore.

But that spirit of openness is still a big part of what I do.

Now, I write Inbox Insiders, a free newsletter I send every Sunday on LinkedIn.

I also created a new course in my business mentoring program.

It's an over-the-shoulder look into how I'm running my own laidback playbook.

It keeps me accountable because I know people are watching.

It demystifies the process when people watch me live out what I'm teaching.

Win-win.

So here's a thought for you on a Saturday night:

People don't need you to be perfect.

They just need you to be useful.

And sometimes the most useful thing you can do is tell the truth.

Satisfy their curiosity.

Share the good, the bad, and the messy middle.

You got this,

~ Cody "Build in public" Burch
