I heard on a podcast today that the U.S. Mint is out on pennies. The last batch rolled off the production line on Wednesday. The funny part? It cost three cents to make a one-cent coin. I've never been a penny guy. They smell weird, and they're basically useless. So when I heard they pulled the plug, I thought, "It's about time." Making pennies stopped making *ahem* cents long ago. But here's the part that actually matters: When something doesn't serve you anymore, you should stop doing it. Immediately. My hunch is you have old:
...that no longer serve you. They are things that you'd never choose to do today if you were starting over. So this is your reminder that you can stop doing stuff whenever you want. You're allowed to change. You don't owe your time, energy, and mental bandwidth to anything that's worth a cent and costs you three. Let it go. You got this, ~ Cody |
