Tonight's dinner was brought to the Burch family by Chick-fil-A.

My wife is out of town for two more days, and the boys are tired of eating at home.

After I placed the sandwich order, the smiling teenager asked me if I'd like to make it a meal.

"Make it a meal," I replied.

And just like that...

My $5 order became a $10 order.

Easiest upsell ever.

The hard part was over...

  • I had already driven to the store
  • I was committed to getting my kids a chicken sandwich
  • I literally had my credit card in hand

A simple question from the employee doubled my order value.

In online marketing, we call this process an "order bump."

...and it's one of the easiest ways to increase your average order value.

Just think of what else would complement your core offer.
