After dinner tonight, our mastermind group had a decision to make. How do we get back to the hotel from the Time Out Market in Lisbon? Some people ordered an Uber. A few adrenaline junkies grabbed electric scooters. And a small crew (including me) went for the train. It was cheap. It was social. And it felt like a little adventure (no trains where I live in Colorado). But here’s the kicker: The fastest option? Uber. The scooters were risky. The train was fun. But nothing beat Uber for speed. And that got me thinking... In business, we often feel pressure to move fast. Launch fast. Grow fast. Scale fast. It's as if "speed = success." But speed isn't always the right goal, is it? Cheap is tempting. Fast is sexy. But fun.. that's what keeps you showing up. That's what helps you build a business you like. So yeah... The Uber was faster. But I’m here for the scenic route.
