  • Ad Spend: $663 (last week: $664)

  • Total Subscribers: 513 (+8 this week)

Deep Dive: The Plan

A few weeks ago, I drew this sketch on my kitchen fridge whiteboard:

That's it.

That's the plan.

That picture is basically what I've been executing for the last month, and it's working great.

Let me explain.

Part 1: The Anchor Offer

The top-right, mitochondria-looking thing with "AO" in the middle?

That's your "Anchor Offer."

It's the main thing you wanna sell.

Most people I work with already have this dialed in.

The Anchor Offer comes in a few different forms:

  • Coaching program
  • Course
  • Membership
  • VIP Days

... and so on.

Part 2: The Growth Engine

The rectangle to the left of the Anchor Offer has a few shortcuts in it:

  • TBTT: Thing Before The Thing
  • MW: Mini Workshop
  • BO: Bankshot Offer
  • PLO: Pre-Launch Offer

And...

They all mean the same thing. 😉

What I've noticed is you need something smaller, shorter, and easier to buy that fills people into the Anchor Offer.

That rectangle (now) represents a "Growth Engine."

Now, a "Growth Engine" also comes in a few different forms:

  • Summit
  • Challenge
  • Workshop
  • Webinar
  • Mini-Course

... and so on.

Think this sounds familiar?

Well... yeah.

It's kind of the only thing I know how to do.

And it's how I've been running my business since coming back online in January 2023.

Part 3: The "Stuff"

Once you pick out your "Growth Engine" type...

You need some "stuff."

  • T = Topic (what's it about)
  • SP = Sales Page (how they can buy it)
  • OB = Order Bump (increase average order value)
  • TYPS = Thank You Page Survey

You also need...

  • Mkt = Marketing Plan
  • SM = Social Media
  • Em = Email

Part 4: The Rollout

Still with me?

Now that I had my framework, I needed to roll it out.

See this part?

"TGE" stands for "The Growth Engine."

And I wanted to run an experiment in three parts:

  1. "Case Study" - Sell DFY spots as a case study for $1,500. August sold out (5 spots) in 48 hours. And September is already 5/7ths sold out. It's going great. I'm building out all the assets and dropping them off at your doorstep. Price goes up to $2,000, then $2,500.
  2. "MW" (Mini Workshop) - Next, I'm teaching the DIY version of the concept in a short, paid workshop. It's happening this Wednesday, and you can grab a ticket here if you want to see how it works.
  3. "Group" - The final act? Do a DWY version of this next month. I'm still working out the details, but imagine a $1,500, 8-week version of the program.

That's it.

That's my plan.

Act 1 (DFY): going great.

Act 2 (DIY): happening this week.

Act 3 (DWY): happening next month.

Act 4 (Continuity - not pictured): I'm thinking of a way to drop off a "Growth Engine" on your doorstep each month (coming soon).
