I saw a headline yesterday that made me do a double-take:

In summary, remote employees had rigged a device that automatically moved their computer mouse so it would appear they were being productive to their sophisticated monitoring software.

When in reality, they were watching movies, playing video games, or napping.

😮

So, they got caught and canned.

What a time to be alive.

But...

I know a lot of people who fake productivity.

They'll buy another course, watch another video, listen to another podcast, take another headshot, rearrange their home page...

And lie to themselves by saying, "I'm sooo busy," or "What a productive day!"

Not true.

Our effectiveness isn't measured by the stuff we do.

It's measured by the people we help.

Add value to your audience.

Ease their pain and confusion.

Deepen their understanding and ramp up their progress.

No more mouse jiggling.

Get out there and help someone.
