Today I was investigating the so-called perks I get with my Amex Platinum Card.

It's got a hefty annual fee of $895, so you gotta pay attention to the perks to make it work.

But it's so complicated:

• I get $50 per quarter towards a stay at a Hilton
• I get $250 back if I spend $600 at Adobe
• I get $300 back every six months if I stay at an approved hotel.
• I get $200 back from the airline of my choice in incidental fees
• I get $250 back from ChatGPT business

...plus lounge access, airline benefits, dining credits, wireless savings, etc.

It's so confusing.

I think I'm getting a good deal, but it's so complicated I can't tell.

I prefer things simple.
